Thought I might as well make an updates log as I had started making one forever ago when I first started this site and then I just. Didn't post it? I guess? Anyways turns out neocities is one of the few websites that isn't blocked by my job's hardcore webfilter for some reason (why you ask? nobody knows) so I can work on my site on the clock when things are particularly slow. I'll also be working on this at home n my own time and hopefully I won't forget about its existence for months at a time as I have in the past.
I can't believe it's been so long since I've done anything on here! I'd like to say that I'll be back and more active but don't make promises you can't keep etc etc, so just know I haven't forgotten about this project! I started making headway on an about page with some quick fast facts, and hopefully someday soon it'll have more detailed info about me and this site.
Happy April 7th to all those who celebrate! I made a new page with all the extensions I have on Firefox which you can view here if you're interested in adding some extensions to Firefox, or are looking to switch to Firefox and want to know what sort of cool add-ons they have to offer.
I started on my first shrine page! It's for Terry Pratchett's Monstrous Regiment, aka one of my favorite books. I've started talking about the different characters and my personal history with the story, but hopefully I'll be able to flesh it out into a fully formed shrine page in the future.
Not a lot in terms of updates today; I created a link to my bookshelf page on my homepage, made a repeating background on my locations page (which currently looks hella ugly and kinda hard to read but it is not going to look that way forever), and attempted to use favicon to make an icon appear in the tab next to my site name (which is not working on my end but maybe it'll work once I look at it on my home laptop). hopefuly I'll start working on some bigger changes soon!
I thought that today I might make a list of all the kinds of pages or projects I'd like to eventually incorporate into this site!
In the past two weeks, I have created pages for my bookshelf and places I've traveled to. These are both still works in progress as of today, and while both have nearly all the information on them, they are far from complete as neither of them look the way I'd like them to. I've still got a lot of html to learn before they get to that point, although I did learn how to put text beside an image in order to have the bookshelf page look the way it currently does. I think it's my first time venturing into the world of css so that's exciting!
